I Present to You... The NILLA!

Well, I thought that, since Elka introduced her family, I might just introduce mine. Which consists of me :). Hmm... I'm an old lady with graying, thinning hair. What else is there to say?!?

Okay, while what I wrote is true (I mean, to a 12 year old, I'm sure 27 sounds like an old lady ;)), I should do a better introduction! And probably warn you a little bit too.

I am 6 1/2 months away from finishing up my Masters in Library and Information Studies (that is, if I can write this 18-page paper!). Then I will relocate from Alabama (I linked that for the benefit of you who might want to jam out to a song while reading this, so "turn it up.") to Washington. And I am totally psyched for all of that to happen! Let's see, I have the absolute best family EVER. I should also add that my family is of the slightly-odd variety. Those crazy people are having a family reunion at a funeral home, and they are making up slogans for the t-shirts that say stuff about stiffs, cadavers, and other such things ;). But then, I don't think I'd fit in a family that WASN'T this way! And if you're reading this, chances are pretty good that you are one of those family members. So thank you!

And here is my warning: I tend to get a little long-winded. Which, yes, that's even possible through blogging. I am afraid that I was infected with "I'm talking/writing/blogging and I can't shut-up" syndrome (and yes, Elka, I'm sure shut-up is a word for which I need to have my mouth washed out with soap ;) ). Okay, so that's the Nilla in a nutshell :). I love you all and am really looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion. Really REAlly looking forward to it. I seriously can't wait! It's going to be a BLAST!
