Northeast Trip Memory Remembered!

I can't believe I forgot this New York City day story! Until now, that is. And Elka, you will laugh particularly hard about this one!

Okay, so we took the train from Manhattan back into NJ. Once we got back to Elka's car, we found that there was a ticket on the car. The reason was because she'd parked in "oversized car" parking. And she has an old-person car, which is technically huge, but not the kind of oversized they mean...

So, she pulls around to go talk to the guy and see if she can get out of the ticket. She goes inside the office and says to him, "Oh! I thought it meant long cars! I didn't know it meant tall cars!"

And, he let her out of the ticket. I guess he felt sorry for her. And probably wondered why 3 crazy people would be riding with someone who's terminology for oversized is limited to "tall and long." We laughed so hard about this little event :).

Yes, they do. But it was so hilarious when you told us how you got out of the ticket ;). I just had to share :)!
